In training!

Get ready...
   Get set...
      Let's train for a half marathon!

I've wanted to do a marathon for years, always constrained by time, knees, hips, and at least a hundred other excuses ;)  The reality is that some of those extenuations may have some legitimacy, and running a full marathon may be a little too ambitious for the time being, but a half marathon is eminently doable.  I've thought about it for years, and truly, there is no better time than now. I'll track my progress here daily, but that's not the fun part.  Every morning before I set out on my run I ask myself one of those unanswerable questions about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness, and I let the endorphins work their magic on the question.  I'm never disappointed with the dynamism of the answers. This morning's epiphany:  Sign up, sign in, and run an official half-marathon. You too!  Pour yourself a cup of motivation every morning and join me for the ride.  Don't worry if a half-marathon isn't quite your thing now; motivate yourself to do what's right for you.  Let's go!
